Naomi encontró mi página web en internet y algo le llamó la atención porque decidió escribirme…
En su correo me pedía disponibilidad para los dos días previstos de su boda mitad india- mitad andaluza en el mes de junio del 2019.
Las bodas indias siguen estando de moda en Sevilla. No es la primera vez que presto mis servicios de maquillaje y peluquería para una boda hindú. La suya me atrajo porque además de la explosión de color y simbolismo de una ceremonia de estas características, en su caso se unía esta interesante mezcla de culturas.
¡¡Así que miré la fecha y …Uff !! uno de los días ya lo tenía reservado para otra boda.
Sin embargo, me hacía tanta ilusión formar parte de un día tan importante para ella que propuse a Naomi formar equipo con mi querida compañera, amiga y excelente profesional Cristiane Ogorek para poder atenderla ambos días.
Después de unos cuantos correos en los que respondí dudas típicas que a una novia le surgen en la organización de su boda, Naomi accedió a mi oferta y formalizó la reserva.
A partir de aquí seguimos en contacto durante los meses previos al enlace ultimando detalles y organizando el “timming” de los dos días de celebración que tendría lugar en una de las haciendas más bonitas de Andalucía. Hacienda San Rafael, situada en las Cabezas de San Juan, en un tranquilo e idílico entorno de la campiña sevillana, rodeada de preciosos campos de girasoles, almendros y olivos centenarios.
La boda de Naomi y Vyas fue una boda íntima , llena de mágicos momentos, y visualmente muy bella,en los que la tradición india y el sabor andaluz se fusionaron encontrando una mezcla original y única.
CEREMONIA HINDÚ/ SANGEET
El primer día fue la ceremonia hindú o Sangeet. Cristiane vivió de primera mano toda la preparación de la fiesta y dejó muy guapa a la novia ataviada con un precioso vestido verde agua al más puro estilo Bollywood.
No faltaron rituales tan bonitos y vistosos como el “Mehndi Rat “o aplicación de henna con dibujos en pies y manos a la novia por parte de sus familiares y amigos; los cuales representan protección, prosperidad y buena suerte. Tambien las iniciales del novio se suelen incluir entre estos símbolos. Este rito viene a ser lo que en España llamaríamos una despedida de soltera.
Podéis imaginaros momentos tan mágicos como este en un entorno de color donde los saris y las buganvillas de la Hacienda creaban un decorado de cine!
CEREMONIA ANDALUZA
El segundo día de la fiesta y cuando yo entré en acción fue la ceremonia andaluza. Naomi lució con mucho estilo una bonita peina y velo amantillado como si toda la vida los hubiera llevado puestos. Las fotos tomadas por Manuel Fijo dan buena cuenta de lo que digo ¿Verdad?
Los nervios a medida que se acercaba el momento de la ceremonia estaban a flor de piel y Naomi se emocionó minutos antes de salir a dar el sí quiero a su amor Vyas, bajo un radiante y soleado día de verano.
Sé que Naomi y sus invitadas quedaron muy contentas con nuestro trabajo ya que meses más tarde escribió esta bonita reseña acerca de su experiencia con nosotras en la plataforma nupcial “Bodas.net”:

Algún tiempo después comenzaron a llegar los videos y fotos de ambas celebraciones. Una explosión de color. Flores maravillosas como telón de fondo de saris rícamente decorados, momentos únicos de miradas, bailes, coreografías, encuentros, abrazos y amor a raudales.
Así que el siguiente paso que me pedía el corazón era solicitar permiso a Naomi Y Vyas para escribir este post y hacer uso de las fotos que reflejan aquellos maravillosos e inolvidables momentos en los que esta linda pareja se dio el sí quiero.
La respuesta llegó afirmativamente y aunque he tardado un poco más de la cuenta en escribir estas palabras, por fin puedo compartirlas con vosotros y darles las gracias por otorgarme la confianza de esos momentos inolvidables e irrepetibles que pudimos vivir juntos.

AN INDIAN-ANDALUSIAN WEDDING
Our first contact was via e-mail. Naomi found my website on the internet and something caught her attention because she decided to write to me…
In her e-mail she asked me for availability for the two days of her half Indian-half Andalusian wedding in June 2019.
Indian weddings are still in fashion in Seville. This is not the first time I have provided my make-up and hair services for an Indian wedding. She caught my attention because in addition to the explosion of color and symbolism that a ceremony of this kind brings; in this case, there was also this interesting mix of cultures.
So, I looked at the dates and … Uff!! one of them I already had it booked for another wedding.
However, I was so excited to be part of such an important day for Naomi that I proposed her I would team up with my dear partner, friend and excellent professional Cristiane Ogorek to be able to look after her both days.
After a few e-mails in which I answered typical questions that a bride has when organizing her wedding, Naomi agreed to my offer and formalized the reservation.
From then on, we kept in touch during the months before the wedding, finalizing details and organizing the schedule for the two days of the wedding in one of the most beautiful haciendas in Andalusia, Hacienda San Rafael. Located in Cabezas de San Juan, in a quiet and idyllic setting in the Seville countryside, surrounded by beautiful fields of sunflowers, almonds and ancient olive trees.
The wedding of Naomi and Vyas was an intimate wedding, full of magic moments, in which Indian tradition and Andalusian flavor were fused together finding an original and visually interesting mixture.
INDIAN WEDDING/ SANGEET
The first day was the Hindu ceremony, Cristiane lived firsthand all the preparation of the party and left the bride beautifully dressed in beautiful and colorful clothes in the style of Bollywood.
There were some rituals as beautiful and colorful as the “Mehndi Rat” or application of henna on the hands and feet of the bride by her family and friends symbolizing protection, prosperity and good luck. It is normal for the groom’s initials to be included among these symbols. This ritual is what in Spain we would call the ¨hen party¨.
You can imagine such magical moments in a colorful setting where the sarees and bougainvilleas of the Hacienda created a film set.
ANDALUSIAN WEDDING
The second day of the party, which is when I went into action, was the Andalusian ceremony. Naomi wore a beautiful veil “mantilla” style as if she had worn it all her life. The photos taken by Manuel Fijo prove what I’m saying, don’t they?
The emotions were high as the ceremony approached and Naomi was excited minutes before she went out to say yes to her love Vyat, under a radiant and sunny summer day.
I know that Naomi and her guests were very happy with our work as months later she wrote this beautiful review about her experience with us on the wedding platform “Bodas.net“:

Later, the videos and photos of both celebrations began to arrive. An explosion of color. Wonderful flowers as a background of richly decorated sarees, unique moments of looks, dances, choreography, meetings, hugs and happiness in abundance.
So the next step my heart asked me was to ask Naomi and Vyas for permission to write this post and make use of the photos that reflect those wonderful and unforgettable moments in which this beautiful couple gave themselves the ¨Yes, I do¨.
They agreed. It took me a little longer than I thought to write these words, but I can finally share them with you. I thank them again for giving me the trust of those unforgettable and unrepeatable moments that we were able to live together.
